A work in progress!

We are in the process of remodeling Madison's and Shelby's bedroom. It has been a long cold winter in their room with a cement floor! John and my brother Gary will be laying the wood tomorrow! They are so excited to have a new room!! I'm excited i will be gone when all that happens :)

Watch out for the tree!

Madison has a new friend, not the tree but Tyler. Those two girls have so much fun together as you can see! They are texting each other from the time they go to bed to the time they get up!! I'm so glad that my children have picked good friends to hang with. I'm not sure whats up with the tree but, at least they look like they are having fun!

Tough Times

It seems as though so many people are struggling these days and most of the problems start with money. John lost his job last week and although we weren't shocked with all the lay offs we hear about every day to big companies. John is the type of guy that has a great personality and tends to see things in a positive way and then there's me who freaks out!! There are so many people out of work today, I just hope he can find a new job and totally we can wake up from this nightmare!! I guess we can call it a learning experience and learn from it. If you hear of any jobs in the Electronic Technician field let us know!!
P.S The song is for my Mom and Sisters! LOL!!

What, a Teenage driver?

I took Jordan driving for the first time today! Wow that was really scary! I wish they would put brake pedals on the passenger side! We did go over one mound of snow and almost hit a car in the parking lot and we are both still alive!!! Now i know how my parents felt when i first started! Scared to death!!! I found a funny story about driving.... Enjoy!

There was this car that was driving very slowly down the highway. A State Trooper pulls it over. "What have I done wrong, officer?" the driver asks. "You are going 26mph on a major highway. There is a law against that," the officer says to the driver. "You must go at least 50mph." "But when I turned on the highway, the sign said 26!" the driver replies. "HA HA HA!" The officer laughs out loud. "That is because this is Interstate 26! The 26 isn't the speed limit!" The driver leans back in her car seat and the cop sees another woman sitting beside her. She looked as pale as a ghost."What happened to her?" the officer asks."I don't know, but she has been that way ever since we got off of interstate 160."
