Gratitude day 15
Today I decided to rake the leaves AGAIN! Mow the lawn , clean off the patio and under the deck. I wanted to get the yard cleaned up and ready for winter. I was just about done and was under the deck, when I hit my head on a beam and ended up in the Emergency room! I have never felt such pain! I hit the beam with such force it knocked me on my butt! I have a terrible headache, jammed my neck and back. I think I'll be in the recliner for the next few days with cold packs and lortabs!! So, for today I'm thankful I didn't break anything, it could have been worse.!!

What the heck! Holy cow! Are you okay? Ouch, that sounded like it hurt. That's going to leave a mark. Is that what you said? Oh wait, I have an idea what you said when it happened..... Am I right? Did it bleed? Do you have stitches? Do you want me to call the connors and cancel? I think that is a very good idea. You might fall down their stairs or knock something over. I think we might want to think about it. I am not doing it by myself. Ha Ha! I hope you are okay. I spent about an hour doing a tree today with a tranchula spider that Parker tried to kill and it got away by the tree I was doing. I'm going to put it on my blog soon.
So glad you didn't crack your skull or neck!!! This will force you to rest for a few days, which you needed really bad!!

What the ... how the heck did you do that? Was it bleeding? Do you have a concussion? Are you still seeing stars? Well, hope you get feeling better soon. Time for some chocolate and ice packs and painkillers!
Oh Joni...I'm so sorry! Please tell me if you need help over the next few days! I always have room in my van for Shelby if she needs a ride home.
WHAT THE HECK??! I didn't even know that happened until mom told me! Gosh I hope you are ok!! :( Are you still on lortabs?
Joni I could just picture it. I remember greatest grand moment of landing on my butt. I was at the gas station and was there with all the pumps crammed with cars and people. I opened up the hatch back of the car. Didn't know it wouldn't stay up and came crashing down on my head knocking me about 5 feet back on the cement on my butt in front of everyone. Be grateful no one was around!. It was the worst!
Joni, you really really really need a rest!! I keep telling you that I am going to tie you up in bed for a few days, and I think we should all get together and carry that out. You gotta be all well and fresh to enjoy Edward (oops, Twilight!) on Friday!!!
Oh, that sounds awful! I'm so sorry to hear that...nothing is worse than a trip to the ER! I'm glad you didn't break anything!
